{"id":326,"date":"2024-02-28T16:00:00","date_gmt":"2024-02-28T16:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bvorselaars.com\/?p=326"},"modified":"2025-09-16T14:41:13","modified_gmt":"2025-09-16T14:41:13","slug":"patent-and-journal-article-on-proton-energy-measurements","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bvorselaars.com\/?p=326","title":{"rendered":"Patent and journal article  on proton energy measurements"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dr Bart Vorselaars from the School of Mathematics and Physics and Prof Nigel Allinson from the School of Computer Science of the University of Lincoln have published their joint open access\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/repository.lincoln.ac.uk\/articles\/journal_contribution\/OPTIma_simplifying_calorimetry_for_proton_computed_tomography_in_high_proton_flux_environments\/25212569\/2\">article<\/a>\u00a0<em>OPTIma: simplifying calorimetry for proton computed tomography in high proton flux environments<\/em>, and their\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.search-for-intellectual-property.service.gov.uk\/GB2633908\">patent<\/a> <em>Apparatus for determining energy of hadron particles<\/em>, together with the OPTIma consortium. The results have also been presented at the Ion Imaging 2023 workshop in\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/ionimaging2023.sciencesconf.org\/\">London<\/a>.
